In 2024, Jennifer Neitzel joined the firm of Powell Banz Valuation as a member of the appraiser staff, and has now has provided opinions of value on numerous commercial properties throughout the state of Oregon. Jennifer has professional experience in the range of appraisal processes, including site inspections, market data analysis, and preparing appraisal reports that adhere to Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice guidelines. In addition, she serves as the Education Chair for the Appraisal Institute, Greater Oregon Chapter.

Residing in Keizer, Oregon, Jennifer Neitzel spent 33 years in public education with Salem-Keizer Public Schools. For the concluding 21 years of her career in education, Jennifer was a principal for both Morningside Elementary School and had the privilege of opening Kalapuya Elementary as a new school in 2011. Jennifer was responsible for administering and managing more than 500 students and staffs of 50 employees each school year. Her schools routinely scored in the top decile of schools within the state.

Starting in 2026, Jennifer will serve as the Education Chair for the Greater Oregon Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Given Jennifer’s extensive background in education and her recent experience toward becoming a Certified General Appraiser, the duality of her professional backgrounds offers the perfect fit for this role and position.

Jennifer Neitzel holds a master of educational leadership from Portland State University and an elementary education degree with a minor in mathematics from Oregon State University. She will earn a certified general appraiser license from the Appraisal Institute and the state of Oregon in 2026.
